eBay Offerings
Marcher Ware is the fusion between the work of Alchemy Ceramics and Pour
Horse Pottery, explained on the website www.marcherware.com and this horse
is the first offering. Sculpted by the extremely talented Sarah Minkiewicz-Breunig,
he is an Iberian stallion with the most incredible detail you have ever seen.
He stands 5 3/4" tall, and is made of fine English Bone China by Mark Farmer
of Alchemy, in England. He was then shipped across the Atlantic and
across the United States to California, where his color and glazing was applied
by Joan Berkwitz of Pour Horse Pottery. He is one of a set of three
chestnuts, and there will be a total of thrity-one custom glazed Liricos.
Each color comes in a set of three, so there will also be three greys, three
grullas, three palominos, etc. Each is marked with the copyright and information
in gold on their belly. Please see the website for more detail, or email
questions to
joanie@marcherware.com if you need more information.
Joanie only plans to auction a very few of her pieces, and this horse is
the first. You will never tire of looking at his incredible mane and
tail detail, his exquisite face with whiskerbeds and lip wrinkles, and his
rolling eye. If the finest china horses are your passion, you have met your
dream.
This Lirico is offered with a very reasonable reserve. Joanie will
accept Master Card, Visa, American Express, Discover, NO PAYPAL. Money orders
are fine and checks will be held for two weeks. Also, time payments
under these restrictions: 50% postmarked within seven days, the balance within
the next 30 days. The horse will ship when the full balance is paid.
The horse is shipping from Pour Horse, in California, and will be in a custom
foam box. Shipping is included, no extra, unless the buyer is outside
the United States. If the buyer is international, exact cost of shipping
will be charged.
